Soldiers Play Key Role in Fielding Lighter Machine Gun

The Army recognized the M240L 7.62mm Medium Machine Gun among the 2010 Army Greatest Inventions (AGI) during an awards ceremony at the Association of the United States Army Annual Conference.

After 10 long years of development, pre-production, full material release and final production, the M240L was recently selected as one of the Army's Greatest Inventions (AGI) Award winners for Calendar Year 2010. This award reflects well on both FNM and the Army for our successful support and dedication to the M240L program.
